Hey koalas!
Last week I took a trip to Florida. The time I spent with nearly all of my maternal family was out of this world. Visiting my grandparents’ Sarasota home is the sweetest kind of nostalgia, and I cherish every minute of their company. The weather was pretty tight, too. I mean, 80s in March is a glorious thing for Wisconsin dwellers.
These photos represent my view of Florida – greenery that overtakes the land, a well-loved home that has changed only slightly in 23 years, and (on this visit) an art museum representing gilded Ringling wealth. (Side note: I may have my criticisms of the art John and Mable Ringling chose to collect and the sheer volume of pieces on display, but they did some impressive things for the city of Sarasota, FL before losing all but $311.)
Also, shout out to the Seminary Chorus for providing beautiful musicality for my Easter worship. He is risen!
I enjoyed your photos!!

Heidi, How great to have you visit these two geriatrics. Life is a bit empty when you all leave us to ourselves. Please come again soon. Love to you and yours. Gramps

I certainly hope I may! And I hope you know that I count “geriatric” as a true term of endearment. =) Love you, too!
